Volunteer Services

Generosity in Action

From creative supper clubs, to mentoring unboxing and organizing in-kind donations, to beautifying our campuses, ACH Child and Family Services has volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Volunteers will partner us either on a one-time, episodic/seasonal, or regular basis. By joining our team, you can advocate for kids and families we serve within the community.

ACH is committed to keeping our kids, and families, staff and volunteers safe. We have taken steps to ensure the everyone’s safety at ACH.

  • Be prepared to have your temperature taken when you arrive and complete a brief COVID questionnaire. Volunteers with a temperature at or above 100.4 will be asked to volunteer at another time.
  • Sanitize or wash your hands before you start the project and again when you finish. Sanitizing stations are available for your use.
  • Maintain social distancing, staying six feet away from others.
  • Must wear face mask while on an ACH campus.
  • If you are showing any of the symptoms per CDC, please stay home (cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell)

Due to the prevalence of Covid-19 there are limited opportunities for interaction with our kids and families at this time, but VOLUNTEERS ARE SERVING SAFELY AND WELCOME AT ACH!

Our Philosophy

Volunteers are the life-blood of what we do as they help us fulfill our mission of protecting children and preserving families. ACH Volunteer Services recruits, trains, and supports mission-focused volunteers in accordance with the needs of our agency to create a framework of safety, hope, and love. Each volunteer, whether individual, group or mentor, brings with them a passion for serving others. Our goal is to provide a meaningful experience to all volunteers every time you participate in an activity or event, regardless of frequency.
